  2. I think it was her fault. Being a whore is something you should share with someone, especially someone you want to sleep with. He was honest with her about his life, and she neglected to share all of the important information or even real information not something she just made up. She brought everything on herself and that's why no one believes her in the end when she says that Stanley raped her. I don't sympathize, she is insane.

  3. Blanche is a dumb person she should have told him about her pass even tho he didn't ask. He would have found out sooner or later even if he asked her to marry him.She was always insane it just took awhile for her to go get help or for Stella to realize it.

  4. It is Blanche's fault that Mitch didn't know about her past. If she really cared about him she would have been honest with him and told him about her past. Since she didn't tell him about her past when she first met him, it all blew up in her face when he found out. She deserves to be all alone and have nobody love her. She's just a waste of time to care about.

  5. What do you mean it's not her fault? Sorry to say, but yeah, I think it is. It's not Mitch's job to ask. To me, he was waiting for her to open up about herself, let Mitch know her. But she decided to lie because she didn't want him to know the truth. He was waiting because he wasn't sure if he was suppose to or not, he was scared to see what would happen. Would she reject him for being up in her business? If you ask me, the only place that she wants Mitch being in her business is somewhere between her legs. Mitch doesn't know any better. If she really wanted him to know about her, then she should have stopped lying and let him in. Pretty much, it is her fault.

  6. Haha, I can't wait to read the rest of these comments. But anywway, it's not mitch's fault because he doesn't have any reason to ask her about her past until Stanley bought it up. Then it becomes blanche's fault if she lies to him from there.

  7. I think he didn't have a chance to ask her.
+plus she was busy talking about herself.

  8. He didn't have to ask she just started spewing out lies to him about her past. It's completely her fault because he didn't ask in the first place she just started telling him her fantasy of a life story for no reason. she chose to lie so there for it was completely her fault and she deserved what happened to her. no one asked her to be perfect, no one asked her to lie, she did it all by herself and for no reason at all.

  9. So everyone you meet you're obligated to ask about their past? No. If Blanche really did care for Mitch she would have told him. Mitch had no reason to believe Blanche would deceive him. Mitch was being a good person and thought that Blanche had feelings for him as he did for her. If the whole world was like that, where you couldn't trust anyone and you have to know everything this would be a terrible place. You have the right to know certain things in certain situations. This was one of those situations. Blanche should have told him about her past so he could have made a decision.

  11. There is a reason Blanche didn't mention her past, we all have things to hide. Blanche could have been open and honest with him but she wasn't. It seems that Mitch didn't care about her past, if he did he would have asked, he was more interested in getting to know her, even though it wouldn't have been the real her, he seemed just to like her for her (at first). so i don't blame either of them they both made poor decisions and had to deal with the consequences.

  12. Eye agree it's not Blanche's fault. Everyone is born the way they are and the experiences they go through either makes it worse or better. Blanche has a medical condition, not severe to where she can't function, but a disadvantage none the less.
